A week after Halloween, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Fall fun with one of my favorite families.
Take one sprinkly turned downright rainy morning… add a dash of fall color… mix in 3 silly siblings… plus one birthday girl (no, not the one in the fancy dress). Combine it all together, with my eye, and this is what I give you: a drizzly DC fall morning spent dancing in the rain, and finding the light and the love in sweet window-lit spaces.
Four is everything silly and sweet. Four is feeling so good in a dress with volume… one that can twirl with force. Four is a newfound awareness of the camera. Four is all heart with just a tiny bit of seeing how far the boundaries can be pushed. Four is full of wonder. Four is kindness, sincerity and love, without any sense that there is anything different. Four is fantastic.
I am so thankful that you spend your actual fourth birthday with me, Adeline. <3
