Just a few more. The ones that didn’t fit in anywhere else, but still I love. More at the beach, sunset in the yard, mornings with Grandma, and my sweet girl who had such a hard time saying goodbye. California, we miss you. xo

As promised, there are more. Some outings, while on the West Coast. The bigger girl longed to see Malibu and head to the beach…
And as always, a visit to Ojai to see family. Where it seems like time stands still under the oaks.
Summer seems so far behind us now. We are full swing into the hustle of school and too many activities, and the east coast mornings have gotten cold. But I still have so many images from our amazing summer to share. And figuring out the best way to share them all: two trips to two separate coasts, multiple towns, and scores of family and friends… is overwhelming me. Especially at a time when I have fall sessions piling up that I want to share with you, too.
So if you don’t mind, I will just start sharing. These posts will be image heavy, and long, and full of sand, rays, and love. Mostly love. I won’t bog them down with too many explanations. Hopefully they will speak for themselves…
First up, Pierpont Beach. The day my girl learned to boogie board.
And the fair with cousins…
So as not to overwhelm each post I will end the first one here. More to come… xo
It was more than a treat to meet and photograph this gorgeous set of cousins while they were all in town visiting at the same time. I have known the Patricks since I was the age of some of these youngest kiddos, but we hadn’t seen each other in decades. The last time we met up had to be high school, before college degrees, spouses, and definitely before children. The chance to catch up, swim and play, and especially to be trusted with their photos was lovely to say the least!
