You Are My Wild, week 6 (and 5 and 3)

I haven’t been the best at sharing my images here every week, so here is a little catch up. Week 6 (today), Week 5, and Week 3 – the one day we had some snow.

This project has been so inspirational, and the perfect jolt of exciting energy I need every week. We have had so many great responses to our work, so many photographers wanting to join or do something like this for themselves, and so many blogs, and online magazines wanting to feature us. We could never have imagined how much this little project would touch so many, but I do know that I am extremely thankful to have this small growing collection of images, and this amazing network of friends to share them together with. Even if it is just one each week, every image is already a treasure. And we are only at week six…  See the rest of the gems at www.youaremywild.com .

10 on 10 February 2013 – the deep winter edition

The last month brought us one emergency surgery, one planned outpatient surgery turned inpatient surgery, one case of influenza A, and a lot of cold, icy, rainy weather that kept us lounging together in pajamas on the couch. Due to the aforementioned circumstances I decided to chose 10 photos from just before all of the chaos began, that while not taken on every hour throughout one day, still represent the snuggly, lazy recovery we have had lately. We are all on the mend, but still clinging, just a bit, to this cozy cuddling on the couch (and maybe just a little to HGTV).

Please check out what Kristen M. Young has in store for this month’s ten on ten, and enjoy following around the circle of our little group!

You are my Wild, week 4

By now you likely know about our little endeavor to photograph our children every week. Week four brought us a touch of porch weather here in Northern Virginia … and pogo sticks, and shadowy trees. To see the work of my talented friends, click here. They continue to amaze me!
