It seems that summer is going by so quickly. I realized this week that before I know it this small girl of mine will be in school all day, for the first time ever. There is no way to describe how much I will miss her…

Week 28. I can’t believe we are already here! It is full on, no holding back summer here in Virginia, with record setting high pressure and the high temperatures that come with it. Staying wet (when you are a water baby) is the only way to cope! I know you may be noticing a theme here…
This was one of those weeks where I had too many good ones, and I couldn’t decide. So here they all sit together. To see which one I actually picked for the 28th portrait, please visit youaremywild.com. There is so much beauty this week!
When I look at all of the photographs I have made so far for this project, I am extremely proud. Not just for the memories and milestones captured, but for the collection as a whole. To watch my children (and the seasons) change week by week, image by image, is something special. A treasure I know I will be grateful for, always. If you would like to view it altogether, too, click here. Or, click “PORTFOLIO” above. On my website there is a link to the entire project (you are my wild). There are a few extras that could not be denied in there, as well. I hope you enjoy it.
We are experiencing all sorts of firsts this summer… and losing things. ;)
